To fill this void, experienced peace builders from across the globe have got together with government officials, civil society and the military to design a strategy that could prevent war and resolve violent conflict. The Global Peace Building Strategy has several specific objectives, each designed to contribute to initiating a new era of planned peace building. It has been endorsed by leaders in the field of conflict transformation worldwide.
